We offer several types of consultations depending on your goals, so you’ll always be matched with the right provider and the right starting point.
Types of Consultations
Injectable & Aesthetic Consultation
If you’re interested in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, lasers, microneedling, or other face and body treatments, this is your starting point. You’ll sit down with one of our experienced injectors or aesthetic providers to talk through your goals, review your options, and map out a treatment plan that fits your timeline and budget.
A consultation fee applies and is credited toward your first treatment.
Burn Wellness Consultation
Our Burn by The Face Loft wellness program is designed for patients whose goals go beyond aesthetics whether that’s weight management, hormone balance, peptide therapy, gut health, or overall optimization.
The Burn consultation is an intake session with one of our nurse practitioners. Your provider will review your health history and lifestyle, ask the right questions, and recommend a personalized protocol. The consultation fee is applied toward your first treatment, so there’s no cost to getting started the right way.
From your Burn consultation, you may move into one of several program tracks, including:
- Burn Weight Loss — GLP-1 programs including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide
- Burn Hormones — Hormone therapy for women and men
- Burn Peptides — Clinician-directed peptide protocols
- Burn Gut — Gut health and recovery support
- Burn Comprehensive — A personalized combination of the above
Your provider will help you determine which path makes the most sense based on where you are and where you want to go.
Hormone Therapy Consultation
If you already know hormones are on your radar or if you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause, or want your levels checked, this is a dedicated, in-depth consultation with Lauren, our hormone therapy specialist and a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with additional certifications in hormone therapy management.
This session includes a thorough review of your symptoms, health history, and goals, followed by a lab referral to get the full picture before your protocol begins. This is a deeper investment of time because the hormone consultation is genuinely in-depth and getting it right from the start matters.
What to Expect at Your Consultation
Walking into a medical spa for the first time — or even the tenth — can feel like a lot. We want you to know what you’re walking into.
Your consultation will feel like a conversation, not an exam. You’ll talk with your provider about what’s been on your mind, what you’ve tried, and what you’re hoping to change or maintain. They’ll take a look, ask questions, and give you their honest professional recommendation.
If you’re ready to move forward with a treatment that same day, Botox can often be performed at your consultation appointment. For other treatments, we’ll schedule a separate appointment to give your procedure the dedicated time it deserves. If you’d rather go home, think it over, and come back, that’s completely fine too. There’s no pressure, no hard sell, and no countdown clock.
A few things worth knowing before you arrive:
- Come with questions. Write them down if it helps! We love a prepared patient.
- Photos are welcome. If you have reference points or things you’ve seen that you liked, bring them.
- Be honest about your health history, medications, and past treatments. The more your provider knows, the better they can guide you.
- Your consultation fee is credited toward treatment, so it’s never wasted.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?
For most treatments, you’re welcome to book directly. For wellness programs — including hormone therapy, GLPs & weight loss, and peptide therapy — a consultation is required before any protocol begins. This ensures your plan is safe, appropriate, and personalized to you.
Is the consultation fee refunded if I don't move forward with treatment?
The fee is credited toward a future treatment rather than refunded. We encourage you to think of it as the first step in your care — not a transaction.
Can I do my consultation and first treatment on the same day?
Often, yes — particularly for aesthetic and injectable consultations. We’ll do our best to accommodate same-day treatment when scheduling allows. Wellness consultations may require lab results before a protocol begins, so same-day treatment isn’t always possible for those appointments.
What if I'm not sure which type of consultation I need?
That’s what we’re here for. When you reach out, just tell us a little about what’s on your mind — aesthetic goals, wellness goals, or both — and we’ll point you in the right direction. You can also book a general consultation and your provider will help sort out the best path from there.
